Refectory Bar 1887
Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Prague is located in a complex of 7 historically significant buildings including a 13th century Augustinian monastery. The monks of the Augustinian order lives in adjacent estate and act in the baroque St. Thomas Church. The touch of monastic life can be felt in every part of the hotel – from iconic room accessories and artistic features over unforgettable spa treatments inspired by the ancient recipes and impressive archangel frescoes.
All of the 101 rooms and suites are nuanced, with the majority boasting sophisticated architectural and structural characteristics from vaulted ceiling and wooden beams to original doors with ornamental ironworks. The Refectory Bar 1887 is located in the monastery’s barrel-vaulted, double-height hall, serving ingenious cocktails as well as the ever-popular ‘Angel Cocktails’, inspired by the bar’s carefully restored 19th century baroque ceiling frescoes. Our special craft cocktails are created by our Head Bartender Daniel Prokeš and his team.
