Concierge Recommendations

Prague Castle
Since the 9th century the residence of Czech monarchs and presidents, gradually rebuilt and extended. Dominant St. Vitus cathedral, a gothic masterpiece with lots of highlights, contains tombs of the most famous Czech kings and also houses the crown jewels. The Prague Castle is the entire complex of churches, houses, towers, courtyards and monuments
including many historical and cultural sights from various periods. It is Prague’s premier attraction.

St. Nicholas’s Church
Church lies at the centre of the Lesser Town Square (Malostranské náměstí) and is the largest of Prague's churches founded by the Jesuits. Constructed in 1704-1756, the church represents one of the most valuable sample of the high Baroque architecture both in the Czech lands and in the whole Europe. In its wonderful interiors the concerts are held all over
the year and this is also the place where W. A. Mozart played organ during his stay in Prague.

Charles Bridge
Prague’s oldest preserved bridge, built in 1357 by Czech king Charles IV with towers at each end and 30 baroque statues of saints mainly made by Ferdinand M. Brokoff and Matyas B. Braun, two masters considered to be among the best carvers of their time. Every day of the year competing for space with the tourists not to mention competing with the statues too, dozens of people set up on the bridge to entertain or to sell items.

Old Town Square
The Old Town Square is the cultural and historical center of the the Old Town. It’s a Prague’s oldest square from 11th century, overlooked by 14th –
16th century Old Town Hall with a unique gothic tower with astronomical clock, 14th – 16th century Tyn Church and the baroque St. Nicholas Church. At the centre of the Old Town Square is the Jan Hus statue, erected on the 6th July 1915 to mark the 500th anniversary of the reformer’s death.

Vyšehrad
Vysehrad is one of the most important historical places in Prague. It is a mighty fortress on a high cliff above the river Vltava. You can recognize it from far thanks to Gothic towers of the Church of St. Peter and Paul, situated there. Vysehrad is a storied place and a seat of the first King of Bohemia in the 11 th century. Remains of various buildings on the hill illustrate the colorful history of the place. Many of Prague's great artists and politicians lied burried here in the cemetary. Most notable are the graves of Antonin Dvorak, Bedrich Smetana and Alfons Mucha.

Kampa Island
If during your stay in dynamic Prague you yearn for an oasis of calm, simply turn off from the Lesser Town (Malá Strana) end of the Charles Bridge and you will immediately find yourself in the magical world of Prague’s answer to Venice. On Prague’s biggest island you can picnic with friends, walk its romantic lanes, visit an outstanding museum of modern art - the Kampa Musem, or pay tribute to one of the greatest singers of all time by the Lennon Wall. Kampa is simply a place that you cannot miss!
